THE ‘FreeCovery’ PROJECT
This amazing vehicle grew out of a desire to make something just a little different. Featured in Land Rover World, the chassis and running gear comes from a Land Rover Discovery and has been grafted underneath a Land Rover Freelander body.
The vehicle drives well - just like driving a Land Rover Freelander, but with the grunt and pulling power of the bigger Land Rover Discovery.
Owner of SDS MOT Garage Steve Dobbie enjoys green-laning and has taken this beast off road - it performs well and always gets a lot of attention!
HARRIS F1 RACE MOTORCYCLE
Steve Dobbie races with the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club and built this magnificent machine to compete in the Post Classic Superbike Championships. He also raced it at the Classic TT in 2013
DUCATI F1 RACE MOTORCYCLE
Steve has always had Ducati and after successfully competing in the 2013 Classic TT, decided to build a lighter, more nimble bike and this was the result. Steve was quicker on this than the Harris F1 and was hoping for a better finish, but sadly had a tumble at the Waterworks on lap 3 of the Classic TT. Luckily he was not badly hurt and will be back next year!
